Pressures continue

The investigation team from Civil and the president Xhabir Deralla had a tour in a lot of municipalities in Macedonia, to meet with the local observes and citizens for the post-electoral situation.

During this visit these municipalities were included: Stip, Strumica, Prilep, Bitola, Resen, Ohrid, Gevgelia, Kichevo, Tetovo, Gostivar, Bervenice, Kochani and Negotino. In these meetings a variety of situations were noticed which lead to conclusion that the pressure on citizens is continuing and the fear is everywhere.

There was revenge against those who did not vote or those who have not helped the ruling coalition parties. In these municipalities a movement from the reviser service with selective access through private companies was observed. The party employment is increasing, including private companies which are under pressure from the ruling party.

The confrontation between Albanian parties DUI and DPA is continuing, where the party activists exchange arguments about which of these parties will be in power.

On the other hand, we notice a triumphalism of activists of the ruling parties. It is promoted a lot that the position of VMRO-DPMNE  is invincible.

This is accompanied with calls for citizens to join the ruling party and get membership cards. Citizens were threatened that they would lose their jobs and other benefits, if they don’t do that.

Currently, farmers are awaiting payment of subsidies, which were promised before the election. Between villagers is noticed a restlessness since there are no signals that this would happen.

A large number of volunteers in public administration hopes to get permanent employment.

Only a part of them will be accepted to work, those who completely finished every party activity, including secure voter list during the electoral process.

The mobile team and analytical team of Civil are preparing a detailed report on the post-electoral survey, which will be published next week.
