CIVIL is publishing an open competition for observers for the upcoming local elections on October 15, 2017.
Through this Application for election observers you can register and directly participate in the observation of the elections #FreeElections.
The announcement ends midnight September 28, 2017.
The website that CIVIL launched back in 2013, for citizens to report election irregularities during the election process, now has a very simple online Application.
The website #Free Elections also contains the section “Resources” from where those visiting the website can download publications dedicated to CIVIL’s election observation.

The conditions for implementing the working obligations of CIVIL’s accredited observers are as follows: CIVIL’s observers do not have any party or other engagement for observation of the elections and carry out the election monitoring for CIVIL only. CIVIL’s observers strictly abide by the principles of impartiality and neutrality, follow the instructions and orders of the organization and carry out the monitoring of the elections in accordance with the Electoral Code and the Observer Code of Conduct. The reports are precise and credible, supported by facts. CIVIL’s observers are mobile and will be available according to the plan for election monitoring, at locations that will be announced to them right before the day of the elections. CIVIL’s observers respect the secrecy of the data and information obtained during the work in CIVIL, for which every observer is responsible according to the respective laws on keeping official secrets.
