Starting tomorrow, January 16th 2016, in Skopje begins a seven-day training entitled "Practice Peace", organized by Civil - Center for Freedom in partnership with the Berlin-based NGO "Kreisau-Initiative", whose trainers will lead the training.
The training is a continuation, in particular the second module of the training, whose first part lasted ten days and was held in the Polish city Kshizhova last September.
Three representatives of Civil participated in the training, Catherine Petanovska, Ermin Climenta and Emrah Rexhepi, who are also the only representatives from Macedonia. The training will be attended by participants from Serbia, Kosovo, Greece, Germany and Poland.
"Practice Peace" through a variety of practical exercises, lectures and theatrical simulation game will allow participants to critically confront the various forms of discrimination in their societies and to develop tools and methods to combat discrimination and at the same time contribute to sustainable peace.
The "Practice Peace" project is a collaboration of seven NGOs - from Germany (CRISP), Greece (VOOLOS), Kosovo (SHL KOSOVA), Macedonia (CIVIL), Poland (KREISAU-INITIATIVE) and Serbia (SK13 YOUTH CENTAR). Together, they seek to contribute for the emergence of a constructive, critical and democratic civil society.
