Placement and removal of posters, clashes between activists

A conflict broke out between activists of VMRO-DPMNE and of the Alliance for Positive Macedonia (APM) on Wednesday evening in Resen.

VMRO-DPMNE supporters were caught tearing away posters placed by the Alliance for Positive Macedonia. Police intervened and all involved were taken to police station for questioning. For three days now, VMRO-DPMNE activists have been placing promotional materials and tearing away those of other political parties.

The same night, the Youth of the ruling political party was seen placing posters everywhere around Bitola town. Posters were placed on trees, bus stations, garages... The activists were at the same time tearing away posters of other political parties, our observers report.
