#StopTorture

Today is the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture. Thirty years ago, Amnesty International started the campaign #StopTorture.

The Republic of Macedonia is no exception to this inhumane phenomenon. There are reports and information about cases of brutality and torture by police and prison authorities in the country, an issue discussed very little in our society.

The International Day in Support of Victims of Torture is an occasion for us to take over the Amnesty International’s campaign and launch it in Macedonia today: #stoptorture, #стопзатортурата, #ndaltortures on Facebook and Twitter, as well as to share Amnesty’s campaign everywhere we can. Send your photograph in which you will hold a message against torture to [email protected], which we will publish on our organization’s Facebook profile. Send information on cases of torture to the same address.
