VMRO-DPMNE reformers: Without taboo topics!

The reforms in VMRO-DPMNE for which part of its current members are advocating, have attracted the public’s attention.  At the very beginning, the reformers of VMRO-DPMNE received quite a bit of support, though they also faced great pressures. For years, the working of this party was hidden behind the veil of secrecy and behind expensive campaigns.

CIVIL – Center for Freedom has called on the reformers of VMRO-DPMNE to answer all the questions and topics that have opened these days following their first public appearances.

What really was happening and still is happening in VMRO-DPMNE? What are the intentions and plans of the new reformers, encouraged to speak out?  What are they facing? Is there any truth in that blank bills of exchange were being signed for loyalty? How much support do they have? Have they recognized similar initiatives and do they cooperate with them?

These are just some of the questions that the team of CIVIL Media will raise at the open forum “VMRO-DPMNE reformers: Without taboo topics!”, tomorrow, July 17, 2017, starting at 11:00 am at the Journalist’s Club.

The event is open for the public. The media, civil society organizations, interested citizens, members of VMRO-DPMNE and of other parties are all welcome to discuss, ask and share experiences and opinions at tomorrow’s forum. The discussion will be moderated, and every participant will have one minute either for a question or a comment, after our interlocutors have their introductory presentations and reply to the initial questions. The forum will last one hour and a half. Provocations and hate speech are not allowed at the forum.  All well-intentioned and interested people are welcome.

CIVIL, with this event as well, is trying to contribute to the development of the political culture and the renewal of dialogue in society, and welcomes the bold decision of the reformers of VMRO-DPMNE to speak out.
