In the cobweb of Mickoski and Apasiev

Will Skender Rexhepi – Zejd and his party swallow the bait that DPMNE threw them and allow themselves to remain entangled in the cobweb of Mickoski and Apasiev? Only the naïve can fall for such an obvious game

XHABIR DERALLA

The coordinator of the DPMNE parliamentary group, Nikola Micevski, on Facebook called on Skender Rexhepi – Zejd for he himself to select 19 MPs from DPMNE for a new initiative for a vote of no confidence in the government. How generous!

By the way, in the Facebook post, Micevski doesn’t miss using the well-known propaganda expressions against the government that apply to the time when precisely DPMNE was in power. Actually, it could also be noted once again that, directly or indirectly, the radical rightist party that is still called the Left emerged from underneath DPMNE’s underarm.

This situation is a school example of political manipulations. Let’s see what it’s all about.

What did DPMNE achieve with just one manipulative FB post?

MP from Alternativa, Skender Rexhepi – Zejd, shortly, stirred admiration and support of the progressive public. He showed defiance and integrity with his statements that he would not take part in Mickoski and Apasiev’s game. Still, with just one Facebook manipulative post, DPMNE managed to shake the seemingly steadfast Zejd.

Zejd said for “Sloboden Pecat” that “in principle” he accepts the challenge of Nikola Micevski from DPMNE for a new initiative for a vote of confidence in the government, which will not include Levica.

Zejd stated also that “with this, all information that he had been ‘caught’ by DUI and by SDSM, come to nothing”. According to him, the “new initiative will prove that he and Alternativa had not hesitated at any point as to whether to vote to overthrow the government”.

Mickoski and Apasiev?

Will Skender Rexhepi – Zejd and his party swallow the bait that DPMNE threw them and allow themselves to remain entangled in the cobweb of Mickoski and Apasiev? Only the naïve can fall for such an obvious game.

Who does Zejd think he needs to prove himself to that he is not “caught” by SDSM and DUI. To Mickoski and Apasiev? Is that why he will agree to be a toy in the hands of Mickoski and Apasiev? Once again, in bold: Mickoski and Apasiev? An exclamation mark can also be added, like in one legendary statement of Mickoski from the time of “café and gym”

The point is that with or without Apasiev, the matrix, motives, means and goals are the same. To come to power and to return the regime that will capture the state and will push it into isolation, fear, poverty, violence and international isolation.

In other words, Apasiev is perhaps vocal and vulgar, but he is meaningless. DPMNE would want to “ditch” him, because he is their competition. In any case, for Zejd or for any party of the Albanians, he, Apasiev, can’t be an excuse whether to enter this game or not. It’s about the values, and not about Apasiev’s formal (non)participation in overthrowing the government.

Losers options

There are two more options why someone would stay in the game of the nationalists Mickoski and Apasiev. Unquenchable thirst for power at any price or short-sightedness. Regardless of whether it’s a matter of naivety, thirst for power or short-sightedness, that person will be abused. There is nothing good for any community or for the country in any of the three options. For Mickoski and Apasiev, the Albanians were and will remain to be just ordinary instruments. Like everyone else, actually.

Simply, with Mickoski and Apasiev, every option is a losing one.
