CIVIL is organizing a promotion of its three editions, at City Hall Center (next to the Youth Cultural Center) on Wednesday, starting at 20:30h. With over 350 columns from 30 authors, on 1,000 pages in three books, the organization will present itself with another publishing effort in which an in-depth review is made of the events in one of the most important years for the Macedonian democracy.
The promotion is envisioned as socializing with the authors, with good music and a pleasant atmosphere. “Without speeches!”, emphasize the organizers, because they are convinced that enough has been said with their columns.
“In the waiting room of freedom” by Saso Ordanoski, on 440 pages, “Outburst” by Xhabir Deralla and “Injustice and unrest” from twenty authors of CIVIL with about 280 pages, will all eternalize a difficult and uncertain period for Macedonia. There will be many different views in one place in regards to all relevant topics, events and processes for which the citizens of the country are concerned about. What is common for all three books is that they are published on a free and independent media space that is rare, which CIVIL created with the project “Free media for a free society”.
The event is of open character, like all other events organized by CIVIL. Yesterday the organization sent an announcement to the public and the media with basic information about the editions and the promotional event, and will present more details about the editions as of tomorrow. In the meanwhile, the CIVILians are calling all those who are interested to register their participation on the Facebook event “Books on freedom, injustice and unrest”.
