The seminar “Resilient journalism in countering disinformation and propaganda” starts on Monday, December 5, 9.30 am, at City Park Hotel. Civil, in partnership with Youth4Media (Y4M) from Germany has prepared a truly rich and dynamic seminar program, which is part of the first edition of the International week of journalism resilient to disinformation and propaganda.
For the participants of the seminar, opportunities are opened for cooperation with Civil and with its partner organizations, as well as opportunity to participate in international exchange and practical training in Germany and other European countries.
Dr. Wolfgang Ressman, head of the international project Media Dialogue and Lena Kronenbürger, editor of fortytwomagazine from Germany, Katerina Sokolova from the Institute for journalism in Kiev, Ukraine, Mkrtich Tonoyan, multimedia artist from Armenia, Dr. Sasho Ordanoski and Xhabir Deralla from North Macedonia, are part of the program at the very beginning of the one-week seminar.
The number of participants in this seminar is limited. Registration for participation in the seminar started on November 24 and will last until December 3, 5.00 pm. Working language of the seminar will be English. The organizers do not cover expenses for travel and accommodation in Skopje.
Multiple texts and videos will result from the practical work of the seminar on the topic of disinformation and propaganda, which will be available for publication to all editorials that will send their members to participate in the seminar.
The seminar lasts from December 5 – 10. On December 9, on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, Civil and Y4M will organize a public event under the slogan “Disinformation and propaganda violate human rights. Resist!”.
