We Are the Media

“We Are the Media” is a multimedia event at which CIVIL together with citizen journalists from throughout the country will promote a publication dedicated to citizen journalism, on December 18, 2017 (Monday), starting at 1:00 pm at the Journalist’s Club.

The publication is part of the Civic Lenses project that is dedicated to citizens in search of facts, uncensored by political and financial centers of power. Through citizen journalists, this project is successfully contributing to transparent and responsible political processes for a third year now.

The publication “We Are the Media” encompasses an overview of all the experiences, reports of authors, whose published work on CIVIL Media’s media platform have made changes in society in the past year. The publication is published in Macedonian, Albanian and English.

At the presentation there will also be an exhibition with photographs on citizen journalism, as well as a projection of video stories. Copies of the publication and of the DDV will be available free of charge.

All those who have won awards, lecturers at training seminars, the media, representatives of civil society organizations and all socially aware citizens are invited to the event.
